Adult superstar Jenna Jameson has taken Mariah Carey’s last month position at #4 and thus pushes aside the pop singer to #5. Played as Julia, Tom Cruise’s wife in Mission: Impossible 3, Michelle Monaghan surprisingly is the new entry at #6 while at the same time ends the list of movie stars in this month Top 10 Buzz.
Elsewhere, the last four celebrity names at Top 10 are dominated by singers. Grammy winner John Legend is at #7, country duo Brooks & Dunn at #8 and Chris Brown at #9. Finishing the Top 10 is Christina Milian, the R&B singer whose new album “So Amazin’” was released in the mid May.

In addition to them, there are several other new entries to the buzz, such as Bruce Willis, Aaliyah, Weezer, Nicole Richie, Tia Carrere, Penelope Cruz and Michelle Branch.
Compared to last month’s, there are several celebrities going down the buzz. Chad Michael Murray who was taken the leading position last month has to adjust with changes that bring him into his new position, #18. This also is experienced by Oliver James, who was listed #2 last month, but is going down drastically to #58. Young rapper and ATL superstar, T.I. also has to stay out of the Top 10 to #26.

“As for the South’s current reign at the top, well its about time. For years many people outside of Texas only thought that Scarface, Rap-A-Lot and Master P were the only ones that were successful in the down south region. During that whole time, DJ Screw had a powerful movement with the Screwed Up Click, ESG, and the UGK’s where making hits! The east coast and west coast never had the opportunity to hear about the 8 Balls and MJG’s. We were under the radar. I feel real good about some of the artists coming out of Texas right now such as Chamillionaire, Bun B and a couple of other cats”.
ESG’s future projects will include collaborations with Bun B, Chamillionaire, Z-Ro and Big Hawk. He also aims to “release an album from myself or one of my artists in the next six months. There will be two full length albums as well as an official Houston All-Star mixtape and a DVD.”
